Evelyn J. Woldman has had a varied life professionally. She was born in Baltimore, MD and lived there through her K-12 years. She moved to Boston for college where she attended Boston University for a BA, followed by a M.Ed. in Social Education, also from BU. She taught elementary school for the Holliston, MA public schools for 15 years, and while there she attended Lesley University (then Lesley College) where she received a C.A.G.S. degree in Curriculum with an emphasis on Computers in Education. Evelyn left Holliston to pursue several positions is classroom technology, ending up as the Technology Coordinator for the MA Elementary School Principals’ Association. She has written software columns for edtech magazine, co-authored numerous books on the subject, written software for early learners, and much more. Evelyn received a Pathfinders award from the MA Computer Using Educators (Mass CUE) and a “Making it Happen” award from the national education technology organization.
Since leaving the field, Evelyn has now turned her attention to her life dream, working for non-profits. Her passion has quickly turned to the mission of Art beCAUSE Breast Cancer Foundation and she is most honored to recently become elected to the Board of Directors.
