Ed Westerman is principal of Westerman Consulting, a consulting practice providing logistics and business operation services. He has more than 40 years experience in distribution, logistics, off-shore sourcing and liaison, cost reduction, problem solving, and general management. Prior to staring his own firm in 1998, he was Vice-President of Operations for 3 New England based, national consumer product distribution companies.
Ed is a U.S. Navy veteran and holds a B.S. in Public Relations from Boston University. In addition to his work with the Art beCAUSE Breast Cancer Foundation, he has served on the Boston University College of General Studies Dean’s Advisory Board and Chair of the Boston University Global Day of Service initiative. He lives in Framingham with his wife Arline. They have one son Micah, a charter school co-founder and assistant principal in California. In his spare time Ed enjoys gardening, music, reading and occasionally, skiing and jogging.
His interest and dedication to the Art beCAUSE mission is rooted in the fact that most of his family members have had cancer in one form or other, including breast cancer. He is committed to uncovering the environment’s role in causing breast cancer
